Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Comptroller to lead financial operations across the division, including budgeting, reporting, and grant accounting. You will work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls across DHQ, Corps, and program locations.

Responsibilities include monthly close, audit support, and financial analysis to guide decisions and ensure stewardship of resources in alignment with funding sources and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of nonprofit financial management and fund accounting.
• Experience with grants and multi-source funding streams.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate budgets across DHQ, Corps, programs and service locations.
• Oversee cash flow, debt management and reporting.
• Manage AP/AR and ensure timely monthly financial statements.
• Support grant accounting, compliance and audit processes.
• Maintain internal controls and financial policies.
