Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Center’s budgeting and financial operations. You will ensure fiscal compliance with policies, manage grant funds, and oversee reporting. The role requires strong nonprofit finance experience and collaboration with leadership to meet strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include coordinating annual budgets, supervising staff, and maintaining CARF standards while supporting mission-driven programs.

Qualifications

• The position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting; a master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Two years of leadership experience; five years’ experience with only a bachelor’s degree; two years with a master’s degree.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm and Notary certifications within specified times.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budget with positive net results in cooperation with the Executive Director.
• Ensure compliance with Salvation Army policies, procedures, and grant provisions.
• Oversee monthly reporting, budgeting, and financial processes for the center.
• Manage FEMA and grant funds and ensure timely budget deadlines.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable and prepare reports for governance bodies.
