Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Finance Manager for a manufacturing-focused role in Pittsburgh, PA. This hands-on position partners with the Finance Controller to oversee close processes, internal controls, and insightful financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will lead a small team, manage cash flow, budgeting, and project accounting, and ensure US GAAP/SOX compliance while driving continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• At least five years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and statements.
• Manufacturing accounting background including inventory and WIP.
• Excel mastery with PivotTables and advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee general ledger, intercompany, fixed assets, and depreciation.
• Supervise inventory, standard costing, WIP, and variances.
• Prepare management reports and analyze performance trends.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with leadership.
• Support project accounting, revenue recognition, and cash flow.
• Ensure SOX compliance and coordinate audits and tax support.
• Drive process improvements and ERP/system initiatives in partnership with teams.
