Primary Staffing Inc. is seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager to oversee accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing facility.

This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective cost accounting in support of strategic business decisions. The position leads daily accounting activities (GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets), mentors staff, and partners with Operations and Supply Chain to improve cost visibility and manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years accounting experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bilingual in Korean and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets).
• Develop and mentor accounting staff to maintain a high-performing finance team.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Analyze financial results and recommend improvements in profitability and efficiency.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
• Oversee standard costing, product costing, variance analysis, and cost allocation.
• Manage inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Collaborate with Operations/Supply Chain to improve cost visibility.
• Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support ERP system implementations and continuous improvement.
