Job summary

IFG Pittsburgh is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial accounting, reporting, compliance and finance operations. The role leads a finance team and partners with operational leaders to support sound financial decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position entails directing monthly closes, maintaining internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic financial insights to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA and/or MBA highly desirable.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Experience supporting multiple legal entities required.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and process improvement initiatives preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial operations, reporting activities, and accounting functions across multiple business units and geographic regions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Review financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries to support reliable financial reporting.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models to assist leadership with planning and decision-making.
• Establish and strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and improve operational effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and corporate governance practices.
• Coordinate external audit engagements and support compliance-related reviews and reporting requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for accounting and finance professionals within a collaborative team environment.
• Partner with operational and executive stakeholders to deliver financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations.
• Drive process optimization, systems enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, scalability, and reporting accuracy.
