Job summary

Vaco seeks a Finance Manager to join the leadership team in the Green Bay area. This role blends hands-on accounting with strategic oversight, mentoring a ~10-person team and owning multi-entity financial reporting.

You will drive month-end close, prepare executive-level reports, and partner with operations to identify risks, opportunities, and process improvements. CPA not required but encouraged; strong ERP background essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Progressive accounting/finance leadership experience.
• Experience supervising accounting teams.
• Experience multi-entity accounting.
• Hands-on experience with close, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• MS Dynamics 365 experience preferred.
• Experience with Management Reporter or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~10 accounting professionals.
• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.
• Maintain ownership of select entity financials.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, labor, overhead, KPIs.
• Develop KPI dashboards and ad hoc reporting.
• Partner with operations to identify risks and improvements.
• Coordinate audits and provide audit support.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and controls.
