Job summary

Runpod, a remote-first AI developer cloud, seeks a Finance Manager, Infrastructure & Capacity to own the financial view of GPU capacity and related spend. You will model capacity, forecast cash needs, and influence where and when to bring up new GPU fleets.

This role partners with Infra, Data Center Ops, and Sales to align demand with supply. You’ll build live capacity models, evaluate ownership options, and quantify financial impacts of timing and deployment decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or related analytics.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling with capex, cash flow, NPV/IRR.
• Comfort translating data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a live view of GPU capacity across datacenters and track what is sold and coming.
• Drive capacity fill on upcoming tranches in partnership with Sales and Infra.
• Monitor fleet utilization and adjust pricing/placement for underperforming SKUs.
• Evaluate ownership models (revenue share, leasing, direct purchase) and recommend structures.
• Forecast cash needs for capacity commitments and own the capex plan.
• Model revenue impact of bring-up timing and quantify delays costs.
• Monitor non-GPU infra investments (storage/CPU) and ROI.
• Build unit economics by GPU type/datacenter/host and set pricing floors.
• Support negotiations with hosts/datacenters; model term sheets and leases.
• Run scenario/risk analysis on supply book including price trends and expirations.
• Own capacity reporting layer and variance analysis per tranche.
