Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Manager, APS Portfolio Finance to lead financial planning and analysis for Patient Services and Copay COE. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting, while coaching one direct report. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is essential for informed decisions.

The role requires FP&A expertise, strong Excel and SAP skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 7-10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience with focus on FP&A and Capital management required.
• 2+ years of people management/supervisory experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas).
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Patient Services and Copay COE teams to develop accurate LBE, Plan, LRP forecasts including P&L expenses, program spend, and headcount.
• Provide variance analysis and meaningful management reporting on results, risks, opportunities, and metrics.
• Support monthly close with review of expenses, accruals, and management reporting packages.
• Provide routine financial guidance and decision support for initiatives, including scenario analysis and investment trade-off support.
• Review and approve financial activity such as PO requests and invoices in compliance with policies.
• Support projects for planning standardization, reporting optimization, and financial controls.
• Manage one direct report with coaching and development support to ensure high-quality work.
