Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks a senior finance professional to manage budget planning activities (LBE, PLN, LRP) and actuals monitoring for INTL, iCEX, IMAP, and IMCO/HQ. The role leads the PTP team, ensuring internal controls and delivering analytics and decks for executive review.

Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business/Finance, 7+ years in accounting/finance, and strong Power BI/SAP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
+7 years of Accounting or Finance experience, with PTP experience in pharma.
People leadership experience.
Strong analytical skills – able to turn data into decisions and recommendations.
Experience working in a matrix organization; influence without direct authority.
Process improvement experience and change management.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines while balancing priorities.
Strong communication skills for executives; ability to summarize complex business dynamics.
Power BI proficiency and knowledge of SAP, SRM, HFM, TM1.

Responsibilities

Manage iCex, IMAP and HQ INTL LBE, PLN and LRP budgeting, with storytelling and analytics for INTL leaders.
Monitor budgets (actuals vs commitments) and identify corrective actions.
Coordinate SPOC/SRM approval matrix and periodic reviews.
Support FD on cost optimization initiatives for IMCO, IMAP, and INTL HQ.
Create analytics to monitor spend using PSM and spend analytics tools.
Monitor INTL DPO initiatives and identify drivers of performance.
Coordinate the PTP team and ensure proper backup systems.
Ensure internal controls for PTP activities, including OEC controls.
Drive process improvements in collaboration with FD and stakeholders.
