Job summary

AbbVie in the United States is seeking a Finance Manager to lead FP&A for the US Specialty Team One brands. You will drive planning, forecasting, and LRP processes, ensuring accurate financials and strategic guidance for senior leadership.

The role includes staff development and collaboration across teams to optimize performance. You will synthesize market dynamics, support launches, and provide analyses for multi‑year plans, while maintaining adherence to US GAAP and AbbVie's controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Mathematics/Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• Requires 7+ years progressive FP&A experience; pharma industry preferred at various levels.
• Knowledge of SAP, BPC and Power BI preferred; strong Excel and modeling skills.
• Strong MS Office; ability to synthesize data into actionable insights for executives.
• Self-starter, able to lead processes and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning processes (Plan, LBE, LRP) and portfolio submissions with accurate sales forecasts.
• Support month-end close with variance analysis and close commentary.
• Develop models incorporating market dynamics like market share and access.
• Prepare clear executive-level presentations and deliver insights.
• Provide ad hoc analyses for launches, channel mix, and key drivers.
• Coach and develop staff to sustain high performance and inclusion.
• Drive strategic projects and enable timely, data-driven decisions.
