Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Finance Lead/Supervisor in Operations Finance to drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the Product Development, Science & Technology (PDS&T) unit. You will deliver timely insights, partner with business leaders, and support capital planning across projects.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting and 6+ years’ related experience, with exposure to SAP, BPC, and Power BI a plus. CPA/MBA are favorable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• CPA or MBA a plus.
• Minimum 6+ years of progressive and related experience.
• Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficient Excel skills required.
• Knowledge of SAP, BPC, and Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly variance analyses for month-end close.
• Develop management reporting schedules for supported areas.
• Collaborate with business leaders on reporting, data investigations, and close issues.
• Coordinate with Finance Shared Service on monthly close and journal entries.
• Provide insights into drivers of financial performance and risk.
• Support capital planning and long-range plans with partners.
• Lead or assist ad hoc analyses and process improvements.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage multiple priorities.
