Job summary

Imigrus in San Francisco seeks a Finance Agent Orchestration Manager to own fund accounting, LP reporting, and capital accounts across multiple funds. You will lead the implementation of an AI-native fund administration platform and automate repetitive workflows using Excel, Power Query, SQL, Python, and Airtable.

You will work directly with the Head of Finance to shape processes, tools, and controls as the fund grows, taking ownership and delivering impact in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in fund accounting, fund administration, VC/PE finance or investment fund audit, or finance and implementation at an AI-native startup
• Fluent in capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees and fund financial statements
• Hands-on with AI tools and automation, or excited to master them
• Motivated by more than finance: interest in deep tech, science or impact
• Ownership mindset, fast pace, building lasting systems

Hiring: Finance Agent Orchestration Manager – Venture Capital, San Francisco

I’m partnering with a well-established, mission-driven seed fund that backs founders tackling the world’s hardest problems in deep tech, science and climate. They’re making their second finance hire: someone who will sit at the centre of the fund’s finances and lead its move to an AI-native way of working.

Why this role is different

Most fund accounting roles are about keeping the machine running. This one is about rebuilding it. You’ll work directly with the Head of Finance to own everything that touches money across multiple funds, while leading the implementation of a new AI-native fund administration platform. The philosophy is simple: if you do the same task twice, build a system to do it for you.

With a small team, your impact is immediate and visible. You’ll shape the processes, tools and controls the fund relies on as it grows.

What you’ll own

• Fund accounting, LP reporting and capital account statements across multiple funds

What’s on offer

$133K–$160K base salary

~$150K+ in carry, taxed as long-term capital gains, and growing with every new fund raised
