Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is hiring for a role in San Francisco, on-site, to lead fund accounting, LP reporting, and capital statements across multiple funds. You will pilot an AI-native fund administration platform and automate finance workflows using tools like Excel macros, SQL, Python, and AI tech.

You will maintain investment data, valuations, and portfolio records while supporting strategic finance initiatives with the Head of Finance.

Qualifications

About the Role

Join the finance team at a venture capital investment firm, working closely with the Head of Finance to manage fund operations across multiple funds. You will help lead the rollout of an AI-native fund administration platform and build more efficient finance workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Own fund accounting, limited partner reporting, and capital account statements across multiple funds.

• Implement and calibrate an AI-native fund administration platform.

• Automate repetitive finance workflows using tools and systems that make recurring work more efficient.

• Maintain accurate investment data, valuations, and portfolio company records.

• Support strategic finance projects with the Head of Finance.

What We’re Looking For

• Three to five or more years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, venture capital or private equity finance, investment fund audit, or finance implementation at an AI-focused startup.

• Experience preparing quarterly limited partner reporting and capital account statements, with fluency in capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, and fund financial statements.

• A track record of automating or rebuilding finance workflows using tools such as Excel macros, Power Query, SQL, Python, Airtable, or AI tools.

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Interest in deep tech, science, or impact, and a practical approach to improving finance operations.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $133,000 to $160,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

This is an on-site role in San Francisco, California.
