Job summary

Minority Professional Network, Inc. is seeking a finance professional to oversee fund accounting, LP reporting, and capital statements across multiple venture and PE funds.

You will lead the setup and calibration of an AI-enabled fund administration platform and drive automation of routine finance workflows. You will manage investment data, valuations, and portfolio records while supporting strategic finance initiatives with the Head of Finance.

Qualifications

• Three to five or more years of experience in fund accounting or related finance roles in VC/PE.
• Experience with investment funds and producing quarterly LP reporting and capital statements.
• Fluency with capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, and fund financial statements.
• Experience automating or rebuilding finance workflows with tools listed (Excel macros, Power Query, SQL, Python, Airtable or AI tools).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Interest in science, deep technology, or impact-driven work.

About the Role

Join the finance team at a venture capital and private equity firm, working closely with the Head of Finance. You will oversee fund accounting and investor reporting across multiple funds while implementing AI-enabled tools and improving finance workflows.

What You'll Do

• Manage fund accounting, limited partner reporting, and capital account statements across multiple funds.

• Lead the implementation and calibration of an AI-enabled fund administration platform.

• Automate repetitive finance workflows using tools and systems that make recurring tasks more efficient.

• Maintain accurate investment data, valuations, and portfolio company records.

• Support strategic finance projects with the Head of Finance.

What We're Looking For

• Three to five or more years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, venture capital or private equity finance, investment fund audit, or finance implementation at a technology company.

• Experience with investment funds and producing quarterly limited partner reporting and capital account statements.

• Fluency in capital calls, distributions, net asset value, management fees, and fund financial statements.

• Experience automating or rebuilding finance workflows, using tools such as Excel macros, Power Query, SQL, Python, Airtable, or AI tools.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Interest in science, deep technology, or impact-driven work.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $133,000 to $160,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, United States, five days per week.
