Job summary

LHH in New York seeks a highly analytical finance professional for a permanent FP&A and Corporate Development role. You will develop dynamic financial models, support budgeting, planning, and reporting, and collaborate to improve business results through strategic financial analysis.

Qualifications

They want a highly analytical finance professional that will help them in performing detailed analysis of financial and operational data. This role is a mix of FP&A and Corporate Development. It is a great opportunity to get into a company on the verge of substantial growth. This is a permanent position offering a salary of $130,000 to $150,000 plus equity and a full benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, 401K, unlimited PTO. They work a hybrid schedule, 2 days in the office is required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Create and manage dynamic and scalable financial models, developing compelling outputs that track business metrics and performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Provide integral support on key team deliverables, including annual and quarterly budgeting, annual operating and strategic planning, financial re-projections, and both internal and external business reporting
• Collaborate with key partners to identify opportunities and improve business results by developing financial models for a range of potential strategic and operational cases
• Use your financial acumen and Excel expertise to develop and deliver thoughtful reporting to the FP&A team, business partners, and investors
• Prepare and participate in financial presentations of results and forecasts to executive leadership
• Provide analytical and strategic support for ad hoc analyses (focusing on the why more than the what)

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of investment banking/M&A experience required
• Advanced Excel skills mandatory
• Strategic thinking ability to examine data, identify issues/trends and recommend solutions
• Ability to adeptly manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Good communicator and comfortable presenting to executives
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
