Job description

An expanding, private equity-backed organization is seeking a Finance Manager who brings strong attention to detail, a collaborative approach, and a strategic mindset. This role offers significant exposure and influence, suited to someone who can balance analytical depth with a broader commercial perspective.

This is not a traditional FP&A position. Instead, the role operates at the centre of the business, partnering closely with finance leadership and cross‑functional teams to connect strategy with execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating complex initiatives, improving alignment across functions, and supporting the overall effectiveness of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic support & implementation: Partner with senior finance stakeholders on priority initiatives, shaping high-level business objectives into clear plans, structured analyses, and actionable outputs. Develop financial models and tools that support strategic evaluation and execution.
  • Cross‑functional alignment: Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure priorities are clearly defined, information flows effectively, and initiatives are delivered efficiently. Act as a facilitator to connect stakeholders, manage interdependencies, and maintain momentum on key projects.
  • Finance operations & leadership support: Contribute to the day‑to‑day effectiveness of the finance function by supporting planning cycles, tracking performance against objectives, and maintaining key reporting frameworks. Prepare materials for senior leadership and external audiences, coordinate deliverables across stakeholders, and ensure deadlines are met. Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, highlight potential risks, and generate insights to support decision‑making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications (such as CPA or CFA) are advantageous but not essential.
  • Approximately 2–3 years of experience in roles such as management consulting, investment banking, private equity operations, or similar environments that combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage projects involving multiple contributors.
  • Strong technical skills in financial modeling and data analysis, including advanced use of spreadsheet tools and related functionalities. Familiarity with data visualization tools is beneficial.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience preparing structured presentations for senior audiences.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to evolving requirements, and deliver results in a fast‑paced setting with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
