Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is offering a 24-month Leadership Development Program with three 8-month rotations across finance, accounting, and business support. You’ll work with senior leaders, gain broad exposure, and build a network within a global financial services organization.

The program starts with hands-on rotations and ends with placement into a permanent role. We value integrity, collaboration, and strong analytical skills, and provide in-office collaboration with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Current senior at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics.
• Graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Commitment to complete the full 24-month Leadership Development Program.
• Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a cost-benefit analysis to determine expected benefits of a new product or program.
• Analyze profit and loss statements and recommend solutions to grow revenues and manage expenses.
• Balance sheet management, due diligence, and process re-engineering.
• Prepare expense and revenue forecasts and analyze trends and variances from plan and prior forecasts.
• Work with a team conducting an audit and testing controls of a business process.
• Evaluate business risks and opportunities to mitigate risk.
• Assist with the creation of a cash flow spreadsheet for purposes of dividend planning.
• Perform analysis of taxable income from investments, variance analysis and year over year trends.
