Willow Tree Recruiting is seeking a Director of Finance for an upscale San Francisco restaurant group. You will lead financial planning, reporting, and performance across multiple locations with strong growth potential and a competitive package.

The role requires 5+ years in finance leadership within hospitality, advanced modeling, and collaboration with ownership on strategic growth opportunities. Competitive compensation includes performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience in multi-unit environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CMA/MBA preferred.
• Deep understanding of restaurant unit economics including prime cost and labor modeling.
• Experience with budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash forecasting, and multi-entity financial reporting.
• Advanced financial modeling and analysis for growth opportunities and capital projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead financial strategy, planning, forecasting, and reporting across a multi-entity hospitality group.
• Own annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity planning by location and department.
• Partner with ownership to evaluate new restaurants, leases, and capital projects using financial modeling.
• Oversee accounting functions, close processes, AP/AR, payroll, inventory, and internal controls.
• Lead P&L reviews with operations and department leaders to drive profitability and accountability.
• Collaborate with operations, culinary, beverage, and purchasing to improve profitability and pricing strategies.
• Build financial literacy among General Managers and department leaders with reporting tools and guidance.
• Oversee financial governance, banking, insurance, tax, audits, contracts, and growth infrastructure.
