Job summary

Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, CA is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Finance to oversee daily accounting operations and provide strategic financial leadership. You will ensure accuracy of books, records, and reporting, while driving budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ROI decisions.

Lead a high-performing finance team in a luxury hotel environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and strong leadership skills; experience with hotel finance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Experience with hotel accounting and financial reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership and strategic direction.
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, including payroll and overhead planning.
• Manage monthly close, journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Support capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis.
• Lead audits and ensure documentation accuracy.
