Job summary

Cookware seeks a Senior Accountant to lead a team of skilled accountants, overseeing AR/AP and ensuring accurate invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. The role serves as a key liaison within the Finance Department, driving timely financial information and adherence to policy.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 5+ years of experience, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables), and solid GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer invoicing, cash applications, and collections.
• Handling internal and external customer inquiries.
• Assisting with monthly closing and reconciliations.
• Communicating across departments about chargebacks, accruals, budgeting, etc.
• Processing vendor invoices, coding, and approval flows in compliance with internal controls.
• Supporting cash planning, payment processing, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Assisting with financial audits.
• Addressing ad hoc requirements as needed.
