Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Finance leader to support the Director of Finance in day-to-day operations and strategic financial planning. The role focuses on general ledger, month-end close, reporting, and driving profitability across hotel operations.

The position partners with senior leadership to ensure internal controls, accurate statements, and data-driven insights. Leadership and cross-functional collaboration are key to success in this team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems (Opera, Oracle, POS/PMS).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-financial leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting processes.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing and cash management functions.
• Support the annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt policies, SOX requirements, and local regulations.
• Lead and develop accounting colleagues; partner with operations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
