Job summary

WSFS Bank's 2027 Summer Internship Program offers a paid, 10-week experience for ambitious students across various bank departments. The Business Systems Analyst - Intern role focuses on bridging business needs with technical solutions, creating process flows, user stories, and documentation while coordinating with business users and technical teams.

Participants gain hands-on exposure, one-on-one mentorship, executive interaction, and opportunities to contribute to real projects.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with the intention to return to your studies following the internship experience.
• Must have completed a minimum of one (1) full year of college by May 2027.
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Must be able to participate in this full-time position (40 hours per week) within a continuous program, starting first week of June and ending early to mid-August.
• Must be available for in-person and virtual interviews.
• Must be available for in person orientation with Human Resources.
• Ability to work up to 5 days on-site at a physical office location within the WSFS Bank footprint.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Fundamental computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication is required.
• Must have critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Must have organizational skills and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• WSFS Bank will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from WSFS Bank now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
• Assist in analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes.
• Create process flows, user stories, and technical documentation and act as a liaison between business users and technical teams.
• May serve in an administrative capacity including meetings, notes, reports, and coordinating meetings.
• Take on assignments with planning, questions, issue resolution, and status updates at team meetings.
• Provide support to other areas within Tech & Ops as needed.
