Job summary

Howmet Aerospace invites students to join its Financial Accounting Services internship in Pittsburgh for Summer 2027. This 12-week program blends hands-on accounting tasks with a strategic impact project in a hybrid setting, including remote work options and a housing stipend.

You'll gain exposure to lease accounting, GL processes, and credit analysis while collaborating with senior leaders and the Financial Shared Services team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with expected graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
• Interns must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Tackle real-world assignments in the Financial Accounting Services (FAS) internship program.
• Perform account reconciliations and journal entries using Excel and related tools.
• Support the monthly general ledger close and consolidation processes.
• Engage in the Intern Impact Project: review FAS SOPs and update the yearly review process.
