Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Cover letter is highly preferred.
• Interest in renewable energy industry is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with incorporation of AI into finance and planning processes.
• Review project budgets and forecasts; assist with actuals-to-budget analysis.
• Review model inputs for new projects and present for future modeling.

Program Description

Longroad Energy's internship program provides opportunities for undergraduate students to explore careers in renewable energy. In 2027, Longroad will offer paid internship positions that create challenging hands‑on learning experiences for college juniors, entering their senior year in the Fall. Selected interns will participate in a 10-12-week summer program that includes onboarding, structured work experience, mentoring, and exposure both to department‑specific and company‑wide personnel and activities.

Job Purpose

The intern will meet with various parts of the business throughout the summer. There will be projects from Financial Planning and Reporting, Project Finance, Treasury, Valuation.

Work location in Boston, MA and coming into office everyday.

Compensation

This role pays $25 hour.
