Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in account coordination, financial analysis, or a client-facing finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel) and financial systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Salesforce).
• Experience with billing, revenue recognition, cost tracking, and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages and supporting documentation for internal and client meetings (Global Account Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews).
• Lead variance analysis, identifying key drivers of revenue, cost, and margin changes at the account level.
• Maintain and update internal forecasting and budgeting trackers; prepare account-level forecasts for leadership review.
• Support month-end close deliverables, including accrual preparation, deferred revenue recognition, AP accruals, reclassifications, and project-level reconciliations.
• Track account profitability, burn rates, and provide forward-looking financial commentary.
• Generate and issue client invoices with full supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Prebill clients in accordance with contractual terms; track and reconcile make-up invoicing for third-party vendor variances.
• Review and reconcile employee timecards for a 45+ headcount operation to ensure accurate project coding.
• Review and approve expense reports for coding accuracy and policy compliance.
• Monitor billing deadlines; resolve discrepancies across Salesforce, Intacct, and client billing systems.
• Manage Designated Entity billing structures, including separate invoice streams per client-directed entities.
• Track and collect outstanding accounts receivable, following up to ensure prompt payments.
