We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Client Finance Manager to support financial operations, budgeting, pricing, and performance management across a portfolio of client accounts within our professional services organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, driving profitability, and serving as a strategic partner to client teams and leadership.

The ideal candidate brings deep financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights that guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary financial business partner for assigned client accounts, supporting engagement leaders with financial insights, scenario modeling, and strategic guidance.
  • Lead the monthly financial close process for client portfolios, including revenue recognition, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop, manage, and refine client budgets, pricing models, rate cards, and profitability analyses.
  • Oversee project-level financial management, ensuring accuracy in labor allocation, expenses, contract compliance, and billing.
  • Partner with account teams to monitor engagement performance, identify risks, and recommend financial adjustments to optimize results.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting packages, client profitability dashboards, and performance summaries.
  • Support contract reviews, SOW development, and commercial negotiations through financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, audit requirements, and industry-specific accounting standards.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in client finance, FP&A, accounting, or financial management within a professional services, consulting, marketing, or related project-based environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue recognition, forecasting methodologies, and project accounting.
  • Proven ability to support senior leadership with financial insights, modeling, and data-driven recommendations.
  • High proficiency in Excel and financial modeling,
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
