Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, Finance & Accounting Technologies, to bridge Finance, Operations, and Technology & Innovation. The role focuses on accounting, job costing, and operational workflows within an ERP modernization effort.

The ideal candidate brings construction-industry ERP experience (COINS or similar) and a track record of process improvements, data-driven decision support, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, IS, or Business Administration, construction industry experience a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years supporting Finance, Accounting, ERP, or enterprise apps, with construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technology partner to Finance, Accounting, and Construction Operations stakeholders.
• Provide SME guidance for Finance/Accounting tech solutions and ERP platforms.
• Lead requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Analyze current processes, map value streams, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and controls.
• Develop business cases and recommendations aligned with technology investments.
• Support change management and organizational readiness for new solutions.
• Create requirements, process flows, test plans, and UAT scenarios; assist deployment.
