Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Payroll Solutions Operations Manager to lead the payroll technology portfolio, including COINS ERP Payroll, time and attendance, and tax reporting. You will manage enhancements, upgrades, testing, integrations, and production support to keep systems secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, HR, Construction Management, or related field; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 8+ years supporting payroll systems, HRIS, ERP, or related applications.
• Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience managing analysts or teams.
• Experience with construction payroll processes and industry requirements.
• CPP, Workday, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts responsible for payroll systems support, maintenance, and process improvement.
• Own system health, performance, and compliance of payroll platforms; drive enhancements and governance.
• Partner with HR & Payroll Innovation to evolve payroll capabilities and roadmaps.
• Oversee payroll integrations, reporting, workflows, and data governance.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
