Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Finance Director, Regional Controller for the USA, based in Lake Forest/Irvine, CA, with hybrid work 3 days in office. You will oversee US accounting operations across entities, lead close processes and drive financial reporting excellence.

You will ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance (IFRS 15 / ASC 606), lead SOX control framework, and develop a high-performing controllership team while partnering with tax, treasury, and shared services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a Controller role within a global finance function.
• Direct knowledge of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 and SOX compliance.
• Experience with risk assessment, control documentation and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end controllership for the US region and US entities.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close with executive-ready reporting.
• Maintain a robust internal control framework and SOX compliance culture.
• Promote cost efficiency with transparent cost visibility.
• Ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance including revenue recognition oversight.
• Own audit and statutory readiness with external auditors.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with tax, treasury, and shared services.
• Build and develop a high-performing controllership organization.
