Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Finance Director to lead FP&A and provide strategic financial partnership across key areas. The role drives planning, forecasting, analysis, and performance management while translating data into actionable insights for senior leaders.

The ideal candidate combines strong FP&A expertise with commercial thinking and the ability to influence decisions and communicate complex concepts clearly. MBA/CPA preferred; healthcare/distribution experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline required.
• 10+ years of progressive corporate finance/FP&A experience supporting complex organizations.
• Leadership or management experience required.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, modeling, business cases, and executive analysis.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on strategic decisions.
• MBA, CPA, or similar advanced qualification preferred.
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, or similar industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and estimates aligned to priorities.
• Analyze performance across revenue, gross profit, OPEX, capex, and headcount for trends and risks.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide financial guidance for strategic decisions.
• Develop business cases, models, scenario analyses, and investments evaluations.
• Lead monthly financial and management reporting and present insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with Accounting for accurate close and reporting processes.
• Evaluate financial impact and ROI of projects and initiatives, including capex.
• Support leaders in growth opportunities, resource allocation, profitability, and trade-offs.
• Drive FP&A process improvements, data, and systems for better decision support.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team and drive accountability.
