Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a senior leader to head the Finance Data & Insights data engineering team in the United States. You will design data warehouse and analytics solutions, plan and deliver data projects, and guide engineers to ensure high-quality data pipelines.

Your role enables trusted insights for finance leadership and operational efficiency. You will partner across the enterprise to surface insights beyond dashboards, shaping strategy through data and driving cross-functional workstreams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience or an advanced degree plus 5 years.
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• 8+ years working with large, complex datasets, including enterprise-level implementations such as data warehouses, ETL automation, BI visualization tools, and cloud-based data management tools
• 7+ years in analytics, finance, or data strategy roles
• 5-7 years leading and/or coaching senior engineers
• Proficiency in SQL and large datasets, including optimizing code and ETL pipelines to support reporting
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross‑functional workstreams

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the data engineering team building data warehouse and analytics solutions for finance.
• Plan and deliver data engineering projects with high-quality, reliable data pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance across teams for end-to-end data solutions.
• Ensure data infrastructure strength aligns with business requirements.
• Drive data accuracy and stakeholder reporting for informed decisions.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to accelerate finance analytics.
