Job summary

T-Mobile is seeking a Finance Data & Insights leader to build and guide the data engineering team behind our finance analytics. You will design data warehouse solutions, manage data projects, and deliver end-to-end data pipelines that empower senior leaders with accurate insights.

You will partner with enterprise teams to surface insights, drive strategic decisions, and improve reporting accuracy. This role emphasizes leadership, data quality, and scalable analytics across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, OR an advanced degree plus 5 years of related experience.
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years working with large, complex datasets, including enterprise-level implementations such as data warehouses, ETL automation, BI visualization tools, and cloud-based data management tools.
• 7+ years in analytics, finance, or data strategy roles.
• 5-7 years leading and/or coaching senior engineers.
• Proficiency in SQL and large datasets, including optimizing code and ETL pipelines to support reporting.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross‑functional workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data warehouse and business analytics solutions for finance data needs.
• Manage planning and delivery of data engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance and coordinate across teams for end-to-end data solutions.
• Ensure data pipelines are high quality and reliable.
• Enable informed decision-making and operational efficiency through robust data systems.
