Job summary

T-Mobile US Inc. is seeking a senior Data Operations Lead to design, execute, and optimize enterprise data processes across on-premises and multi-cloud environments.

You’ll act as the senior technical authority for data integrations, governance, and automation, partnering with Engineering, Platform, and vendors to resolve high-impact issues. You will mentor junior analysts, drive self-service data refresh and dashboards, and influence data strategy across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience or advanced degree with 1 year related experience (Required).
• 7-10 years in data identification, querying, cleaning, wrangling, quality assessment, and management across relational and nonrelational databases in big data environments (Required).
• 7-10 years translating complex business questions into data strategy and applying advanced analytical techniques (Required).
• 7-10 years communicating technical concepts to executives and stakeholders (Required).
• 7-10 years SQL experience in relational databases (Required).
• 7-10 years with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) (Required).
• 4-7 years with big data architecture and pipelines (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka) (Required).
• 4-7 years with ETL/ELT automation and Snowflake/dbt/Airflow (Required).
• 3-5 years managing vendor/data partner relationships (Required).
• 2-4 years coaching or mentoring junior analysts (Required).
• 2-4 years contributing to data governance frameworks (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own and enhance enterprise data operations frameworks, SLAs, and escalation processes across data integration, pipeline automation, billing, file transfer, and governance.
• Serve as senior technical authority for data quality and integration, building infrastructure with Snowflake, AWS Lambda, S3, and Streamlit.
• Lead migration of manual processes to automated, self-service data refresh, reporting, and dashboards.
• Manage data partner and vendor relationships, ensuring SLA and contract performance.
• Drive data governance standards and international data expansion across partner integrations.
• Promote automation and AI tooling to reduce manual work and elevate technical capability.
