Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. is seeking a data engineering leader to guide a team building data warehouse and analytics solutions for finance. You will plan and deliver data engineering projects, ensure pipeline quality, and provide technical guidance across teams to meet business needs.

Success is measured by data infrastructure strength, team performance, and accuracy of data delivered to stakeholders, enabling informed decisions and improved operational efficiency across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of related experience or advanced degree plus 5 years
• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, CS, Engineering, Statistics or related
• 8+ years working with large datasets and enterprise data warehouses/ETL/BI tools/cloud data management
• 7+ years in analytics, finance, or data strategy roles
• 5-7 years leading and/or coaching senior engineers
• Proficiency in SQL and large datasets, optimizing ETL/pipelines for reporting
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional workstreams

Responsibilities

• Lead a team that designs and develops data warehouse and analytics solutions for finance
• Manage planning and delivery of data engineering projects with high-quality data pipelines
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions
• Ensure data infrastructure strength and accuracy of data delivered to stakeholders
• Enable informed decision-making and operational efficiency through robust data systems
