Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a remote internship with the Finance/Operations team for summer 2027. The program runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with a schedule of up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Interns will use Excel to automate processes, analyze charges, support budgeting and reporting, and assist in data extraction for trend analysis. No prior experience required beyond current enrollment; GPA 2.5+ and strong attention to detail are expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Management or a related field with junior or senior standing.
• GPA of at least 2.5 required or preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated processes in Excel to minimize manual work.
• Support review and analysis of charges, and assist in necessary adjustments.
• Prepare financial and statistical analyses and assist with data extraction and trend calculations.
