The role focuses on rapid analyses with scalable solutions, building detailed should-cost models, and supporting strategic tradeoffs between features, costs, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing finance, engineering finance, or engineering roles.
• Strong understanding of mathematics or building models.
• Strong analytical aptitude with numeric thinking.
• Ability to quickly execute analyses in Excel.
• Ability to quantify complex, often ambiguous problems.
• Interest in the intersection of engineering design and business growth.
• Comfort communicating with large groups and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own development and production cost estimations for new products from concept to development.
• Translate engineering problems into quantitative measures and financial insights.
• Create and refine cost models and financial analyses.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support cost reduction roadmaps.
• Forecast product lifecycle costs and assess business case viability.
