Job summary

Clean Energy Credit Union is seeking a part-time or full-time Finance Clerk to support the Finance team. You will handle accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation tasks, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.

The role collaborates with Staff Accountants and the Controller to maintain compliant financial operations. Ideal candidates have basic accounting knowledge, Excel proficiency, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft products, including Excel.
• Experience with data entry and processing; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions (checks, ACH, direct deposits) and code expenses.
• Assist with routine monthly/annual closings including data entry and reconciliations.
• Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations and address discrepancies.
• Generate and process invoices and account statements; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Provide clerical support to Finance; maintain organized records for reporting.
