Job summary

Babson College is seeking an Operations Specialist for the Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investment and Finance. This role oversees the Cutler Center lab, staffing, and day-to-day operations in collaboration with faculty and staff.

Responsibilities include program planning, budget monitoring, and coordination with IT, Media, and Finance teams. The position supports curricular and co-curricular activities for students and alumni, with some evenings and on-campus events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 3-5 years of similar experience preferred.
• Outstanding organization and project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills with ability to engage across the College.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Cutler Center finance lab and student staff, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and compensation.
• Coordinate with faculty, IT, and media teams to ensure smooth functioning and upgrades.
• Collaborate with Finance Division on class schedule and budget-wide transactions in Workday.
• Plan and execute programs including Lab 101, curricular and co-curricular events for students and alumni.
• Manage contracts, invoices, and external presenter arrangements; prepare invoices for programs and events.
• Track expenses and provide budgeting overview per event to support Event Manager.
