Job summary

Mastercard Technology seeks a Director, Finance Business Partner to provide financial oversight across Technology domains. You’ll partner with business leaders to develop plans, manage performance, and evaluate investment opportunities, while applying TBM methods to allocate technology costs and drive P&L accountability.

You will lead a team, coordinate with regions and partners, and influence senior leadership on financial decisions, process improvements, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; MBA or CFA preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting, internal controls and financial reporting.
• Experience in Technology/IT organizations a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Oracle and Hyperion; familiarity with Apptio/TBM practices and Agile IT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight to Technology business areas, including planning and performance management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Collaborate with regions, business units, and sourcing to analyze opportunities and risks.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior partners, aligning financial goals with business strategies.
• Manage a team, set goals, coach talent, and drive process improvements.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and develop business cases for new opportunities.
