Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner to support the Software Capitalization function within TECHNOLOGY. This role partners with Technology, Product, Finance, and Controllership to evaluate capitalization, forecast costs, and provide actionable financial insights.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance/FP&A, with strong analytical skills and experience translating complex tech initiatives into financial impacts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, technology finance, or controllership.
• Experience supporting software capitalization or technology accounting is a plus.
• Ability to learn complex technologies and assess financial/operational impacts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate software capitalization requests per policy and guidance to determine eligibility.
• Own complex processes, identify risks, evaluate solutions, and drive resolution.
• Partner with Technology, Product, Finance, and Controllership to support decisions and ensure compliance.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve data quality issues and balance stakeholder needs.
• Assist with annual budgets and monthly forecasts for software capitalization.
• Provide financial reporting and insights including drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Drive improvements in budgeting, forecasting, and capitalization processes.
