Responsibilities include processing supplier invoices, preparing wires, handling expense reports, and assisting with quarter-end close. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 0–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices from receipt to payment.
• Review invoice coding, approvals and payment details.
• Prepare and record wires and other supplier payments.
• Process employee expense reports and card transactions.
• Research and resolve invoice and payment inquiries.
• Coordinate processing and audit activities with external providers.
• Support period-end AP cutoff and reconciliations.
• Prepare management fee and expense reimbursement invoices.
• Record revenue and reimbursements for internal units.
• Monitor AR aging and reconciliations to the GL.
• Support collections and external reporting.
• Monitor billing policy and contractual compliance.
• Maintain AR records and reconciliations to GL.
• Work with Finance, Legal, Tax and Compliance teams.
• Use Workday Financials and Excel for reconciliations and reporting.
• Support process improvements, automation and AI initiatives.
• Assist with quarter-end close, treasury and ad hoc projects.

Finance Associate – Corporate Finance | Boston, MA | $70K–$75K + Bonus

A global alternative investment firm is seeking a Finance Associate to join its Corporate Finance team in Boston. The role will support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions of the Global Management Company, with exposure to general ledger accounting, reporting, treasury and other Corporate Finance responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Process third-party supplier invoices from receipt through payment
• Review invoice coding, approvals and payment details
• Prepare and record wires and other supplier payments
• Process employee expense reports, procurement card transactions and bank activity
• Research and resolve invoice and payment inquiries
• Coordinate processing and audit activities with external service providers
• Support period-end AP cutoff and quarterly account reconciliations

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare management fee and expense reimbursement invoices
• Prepare invoices to internal business units and record related revenue and expense reimbursements
• Monitor amounts billed and collected from portfolio companies and funds
• Support collections and external reporting
• Monitor compliance with billing policies and contractual agreements
• Maintain AR records, aging analysis and reconciliations to the general ledger

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work with Finance, Legal, Tax and Compliance teams
• Use Workday Financials and Excel for reconciliations, reporting and analysis
• Support process improvements, automation and AI initiatives
• Assist with quarter-end close, reporting, treasury and ad hoc projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0–2 years of related experience
• General accounting experience and/or relevant coursework
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Workday Financials experience is a plus, but not required
• Exposure to AI tools, SQL, Python or other automation/data tools is a plus

Base salary: $70,000–$75,000 + bonus
