Responsibilities

• Track, analyze and coordinate weekly cash activity, including capital calls and distributions.
• Perform cash availability analysis across multiple investment funds.
• Evaluate loan drawdowns and repayments.
• Coordinate with internal Finance teams, outsourced accounting providers and fund administrators.
• Review monthly interest expense and bank fee workpapers.
• Assist with quarterly financial reporting and workpapers.
• Support annual property operating budget processes and interim and year-end audit and tax deliverables.

We are working on a Finance Associate opportunity with a leading global investment firm’s real estate platform. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting/finance professional to gain exposure to real estate investments, fund accounting, cash management and financial reporting while working alongside an experienced Finance team.

The portfolio spans a variety of real estate sectors, including multifamily, life sciences, industrial, retail, senior housing, self-storage and medical office.

Key responsibilities:

• Track, analyze and coordinate weekly cash activity, including capital calls and distributions
• Perform cash availability analysis across multiple investment funds
• Evaluate loan drawdowns and repayments
• Coordinate with internal Finance teams, outsourced accounting providers and fund administrators
• Review monthly interest expense and bank fee workpapers
• Assist with quarterly financial reporting and workpapers
• Support annual property operating budget processes
• Assist with interim and year-end audit and tax deliverables
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including technology and AI

Ideal background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Entry level to 2 years of relevant experience
• Big 4 public accounting and/or real estate investment management experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Yardi experience a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Work Model: Hybrid

Base Salary: $80,000–$85,000 + discretionary annual bonus
