Job summary

Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Finance Applications Developer in the Wheeling, WV office. The role provides technical development support for the Business Systems Support Group and focuses on Aderant and related financial applications.

You will analyze complex business requirements, design reliable solutions, automate workflows, ensure data integrity and security, and support monthly close activities and upgrades to improve financial insight.

Qualifications

• Experience with Aderant Expert Financial Management System and DocuDraft development is required.
• Strong SQL Server skills including writing queries.
• Experience performing quality assurance testing for financial application solutions.
• Ability to lead projects with limited supervision.
• Finance and accounting knowledge; experience with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of Aderant Expert customizations.
• Coordinate month-end close activities.
• Maintain documentation for close processes and data builds.
• Plan and lead Aderant version upgrades.
• Support integration with Aderant and other financial systems.
• Ensure compliance with security and internal control policies.
• Analyze workflows for automation and create custom reports.
