Job summary

Extend is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Analytics to lead forecasting, planning, and performance management within the RAD team. You’ll partner with leadership to standardize forecasting, build robust financial models, and drive data-driven decision making across the business.

You’ll own P&L modeling, unit economics, and scenario analysis, while mentoring senior analysts and pushing AI-enabled ways of working. The role offers strategic influence and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development with forecasting experience.
• Strong analytical and data skills across SQL and financial modeling; experience with dbt, Snowflake, Python, and BI tools is a plus.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex analysis into board- and exec-level materials; Insurtech/fintech or financial-services experience is a plus.
• Experience mentoring senior analysts and elevating team technical bar.
• Interest in AI tools (Claude, Gemini) to improve day-to-day efficiency.
• Ability to think beyond finance and consider cross-team impact; empathy, humility, curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Own the forecast methodology and the driver-based models for key financials.
• Lead the annual operating plan and 3–5 year financial model.
• Track KPIs and OKRs and provide forward-looking insights.
• Own end-to-end P&L modeling and performance reporting.
• Build and maintain the unit-economics framework for pricing and investments.
• Develop ROI and scenario models for new products, markets, and partnerships.
• Support fundraising, insurer/reinsurance partner economics, and M&A analysis as needed.
• Plan headcount with People and department leaders.
