Job summary

Kiewit’s South Central District in the Transportation market is seeking an entry-level Finance Analyst. This role supports project accounting and finance tasks, including cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and human capital management.

You will contribute to the month-end close and assist in preparing financial reports for project management. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and a foundational understanding of finance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' financial/data analysis experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent degree; GPA 3.0+
• Internship experience is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; knowledge of Pivot Tables and V-Lookups preferred

Responsibilities

• Recognizes the importance of being a team player by adapting to project needs
• Fosters relationships with the Operations team and shows willingness to learn about the work
• Understands payroll and HR workflow and master systems used to hire, transfer, terminate, and pay employees
• Maintains purchasing workflow internal controls and understands accounts payable processes
• Supports cost reporting, forecasting, and budget issue review for management
