Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and cost control for large- scale infrastructure efforts. You will assist with payroll, accounts payable/receivable and month-end processes, working closely with Operations and project teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

This role offers exposure to projects across the South Central District and opportunities to learn corporate compliance, budgeting, and revenue recognition in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years' financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key Excel functions is preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance.
• Assists with month-end close and prepares financial reporting packages for project management.
• Learns and applies project accounting processes for labor, equipment, materials, and subcontracts.
• Maintains internal controls and purchasing workflow.
• Helps ensure timely and accurate project billing and cash management.
