Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Finance Analyst to support project accounting and forecasting tasks in its South Central District. The role focuses on cost control, payroll, AP/AR, labor data, and compliance as part of a monthly close process.

Based in the South Central District with a home office in Westlake, TX, the position offers broad exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects across the US and Canada. Travel and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above; internship experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
• Effective oral and written communication, organization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recognize the importance of teamwork and adapt to project needs.
• Foster relationships with the Operations team and learn workflows.
• Understand payroll and HR processes and masters related systems.
• Learn purchasing workflow and internal controls for invoices.
• Troubleshoot accounts payable issues and maintain workflow integrity.
• Understand intercompany and client billing and timely documentation.
• Review costs and budget reports to ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify forecast and budget issues and adjust cost reports accordingly.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to the team.
• Maintain organized work environment and communicate clearly.
