Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to support project accounting and finance tasks across a variety of cost and revenue components. You’ll participate in month-end close processes, assist with preparing financial reports, and learn payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance workflows.

Location is Denver, with relocation possible nationwide. This internship offers exposure to large-scale construction finance, hands-on training, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Business Management.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the country for this internship.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups preferred.
• Effective communication, organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports project accounting and finance functions.
• Assists with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance tasks.
• Participates in month-end close and prepares financial reporting packages for project management.
• Relocates as needed to various project sites across the United States.
• Learns and applies internal controls for purchasing and billing workflows.
• Collaborates with Operations team and other departments to gather data and resolve issues.
