Job summary

Target is offering a Summer 2027 Finance Intern position through the Financial Analyst Development Program. You will join a 10‑week, project‑based internship designed to build core FP&A skills, including budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.

The program includes hands‑on experience, mentorship, and leadership exposure within the FP&A organization. You will manage a project from start to finish and present results to senior leaders, gaining realistic job preview into the world of finance

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, communication and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong planning and organizational skills and curiosity for learning.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 10‑week, project‑based internship within Target's FP&A organization.
• Assist technology, property investments, budgeting, sales forecasting or modeling/reporting projects.
• Manage a project from start to finish and present results to leadership.
• Receive extensive training and mentorship throughout the internship.
