Job summary

Deltek is seeking an intern for the Cloud & Technology FP&A team to gain hands-on finance experience. You will assist with month-end close, budgeting, and financial analysis while delivering a defined summer project. You will present results to leadership at summer's end.

You will work in a fast-moving software business, collaborating across functional teams and developing practical skills in financial planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; graduating 2026-2027.
• Comfortable with Excel modeling, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work with large datasets and derive insights.
• Clear written and verbal communication to explain numbers and implications.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close by pulling, cleaning, and analyzing actuals vs. plan across cost and revenue categories.
• Assist with annual budget preparation; support model builds and cross-functional data requests.
• Develop financial analysis and summaries to support leadership reporting.
• Own a summer project tied to team priorities with a defined deliverable and final presentation.
• Present findings to the team and stakeholders at summer close.
